Rattan has several advantages than wood, such as lightweight, strong, elastic, malleable, and cheap. The main weakness of rattan is prone to termites. Also rattan grow faster and are relatively easy to harvest, so is considered more profitable than furniture or furniture made of wood.
Prices of furniture or household furniture made of rattan furniture is not as expensive with a base made with wood, but has almost the same strength. Chair or table made of rattan is lighter and simpler so that the match was placed in a small room and easy to move.
In order for furniture or rattan furniture is more durable, there are things you need to consider in care. Things you can do is:
1. Clean once a week. Simply use a dry cloth to remove dust, dust. Do not use chemicals because it can damage the cane.
